BLOOD REZ CREW

More Than A Duo

There are many ways to describe Blood Rez Crew, but unique, talented, and charismatic just seem to scratch the surface. However, there is one word that ties them all together and is true to their character: Blood Rez Crew is Real. Few people sing so honestly from their heart and soul. Blood Rez Crew does so in just the right way, combining art, story, and song in perfect unison.

ABOUT THE ALBUM

The World or Nothing

Dynamic and determined are just two words that can best describe the Blood Rez Crew. They are modern day First Nations story tellers from the Kainai Nation, showcasing their traditional Blackfoot culture alongside with their gritty sound, influenced by the hard realities of growing up in poverty, surrounded by violence and alcohol, which stems from the trauma of Canada’s colonial history.

“As Blood Rez Crew we want to create art that represents both our traditional and modern day culture. We are rap artists, but first and foremost we are storytellers. The songs of this project reflect the strong relationship we feel for, and have fostered with, our community and our reserve.” - Carl “Tukk” Brave Rock
